Each compound eye contains approximately 500 to 600 single eyes. The more single eyes there are, the more light they can receive, and thus the stronger their sensitivity to light. Scientifically, mosquitoes are defined to have two types of responses to different light waves, namely light-avoidance and light-seeking responses: Blue light with wavelengths below 500nm has a strong attraction to mosquitoes. However, light with wavelengths above 500nm, especially those with wavelengths greater than 560nm, causes mosquitoes to exhibit obvious evasive behaviors during activities. Mosquitoes that are exposed to the light in a timely manner will show disordered flight, decreased vitality and remain motionless.

3）Based on the principle that all mosquitoes avoid light, our spectral engineers have collaborated with a team of mosquito biology experts from South China Agricultural University to develop a special spectral spectrum that efficiently repels mosquitoes by using ELightech’s special spectral technology. Through continuous screening and evaluation among numerous spectra, they have successfully developed a special spectral spectrum that effectively repels mosquitoes, with an effective mosquito prevention rate of over 91.5%.

The LED mosquito-proof strip produced by Mingxue Optoelectronics, the emits amber light, which can produce a large amount of light that mosquitoes dislike, thereby achieving the effect of repelling mosquitoes. The visible light emitted by this mosquito-proof lamp truly achieves zero blue and zero violet light, causing no pollution or harm to the human body or the environment. It is an environmentally friendly product and currently the safest and most environmentally friendly high-efficiency physical mosquito-proof product both at home and abroad

Part 2:Mosquito Hazard

1、Dengue fever：

According to a report by the World Health Organization, the incidence of dengue fever has risen significantly worldwide in recent decades. The disease is endemic in more than 100 countries in Africa, the Americas, the Eastern Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific. The Americas, Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific region were the most severely affected. A recent study estimates that there are approximately 390 million cases of dengue fever infection worldwide each year. 3.9 billion people in 128 countries are at risk of dengue virus infection, with a fatality rate ranging from 15% to 50%. In China, the main high-risk areas are in Guangdong, Guangxi and other places.

2、Malaria：

Malaria has been listed by the World Health Organization as one of the three major dangerous diseases, along with AIDS and tuberculosis. Every year, hundreds of thousands to millions of people die from malaria worldwide. Malaria causes about three million deaths each year. Anopheles mosquitoes, which can transmit malaria, are distributed in Central and South America, Africa, Oceania and Central Asia, with Africa being the most severely affected. In Africa, on average, a child dies of malaria every 30 seconds. In China, malaria is mainly transmitted by the Chinese mosquito Aedes.

3、Epidemic encephalitis B：

Epidemic encephalitis B is also transmitted by Culex mosquitoes and Aedes mosquitoes, and it is generally called encephalitis. After mosquitoes bite and suck the blood of humans or animals containing this virus, they become infectious after a considerable period of time. When they bite people without immunity, they can cause illness, among whom children are the main victims.

In response to this issue, we have developed a mosquito-proof light strip and it has the following advantages:

1-This project is a physical mosquito prevention product. It does not kill any living creatures and does not disrupt the ecological chain of mosquitoes. It is an environmentally friendly product.
It adopts red and green light as the main spectral structure, which is beneficial to human eyes, animal breeding and plant growth, and is safe and reliable.

2-It will not cause chemical pollution. The light source does not contain blue or purple light and adopts a stroboscopic isolated power supply, which can ensure the photobiological safety of human and animal eyes.
The spectral configuration and lamp structure adopted by this product are uniformly designed with a patent, which can make the product’s spectrum more stable and reliable, and enhance the service life of the lamp and the mosquito-proof effect.

3-Scientific experiments have proved that mosquitoes are averse to the spectral energy range of 570-590nm. This product can fully meet this requirement and effectively repel insects. Compared with the existing common LED mosquito-proof lamp technology, this project completely avoids the spectrum below 500nm that can attract mosquitoes, and the efficiency is improved.

4-After testing, the single-lamp mosquito-proof area of this product reaches 0.8 to 1 square meter per watt, which is convenient for large-scale mosquito repellent. Especially during the mosquito breeding season, it can drive mosquitoes away from water sources and breeding grounds, which is conducive to significantly reducing the reproduction rate and population density of mosquitoes.
Our outdoor lamps have undergone waterproof and anti-ultraviolet radiation treatment in structure. They can not only be used indoors but also safely outdoors, especially in communities, parks, gardens and other places.

5-Due to the adoption of LED technology, it saves electricity and energy compared with traditional mosquito-proof lamps.
The most important is that all products can be customized for customers! Contact us for more details!

MINGXUE is the brand name of Shenzhen Mingxue Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.
